There has been a market in Holbeach for over 750 years. Market is on two sides of the Church at Market Hill traffic lights. A small market is open on Saturdays and a larger on Thursdays. We have a Greengrocer, a Wet fishmonger, Bakers, a Plant stall, Eggs, Smoking requisites and watch stall, Clothing, Catalogue goods, Bedding, and other traders from time to time.

At Christmas a one day special market includes a large range of craft goods and includes street entertainment, a band and many other attractions.

In recent years the market, as well as town centre shops has been affected by changes in bus timetables, parking and several other factors. The traders are trying to encourage additional stalls to attend, to get the South Holland Council to reverse recent large rent increases and do more to tempt in new traders.
