A small victory.  The Boston Road car park will now be open from 6.30 am to 7pm 7 days a week.

Members of the public, remember that you can get from the Forum, a paper clock to enable you to park free for two hours.

Many of our members can expect a difficult and busy time in 2010 dealing with the recession and if we are lucky, perhaps an upturn later in the year. It is therefore proposed to reduce the number of regular meetings.  There will also be regular Think Tank meetings and members who wish to raise any matter in person are welcome to attend, provided they let one of the officers know in advance. Of course you can also bring any subject needing quick attention before the forum by contacting the Secretary or Treasurer and additional full meetings can be called if necessary.

Membership.  We now have over 120 members, from one man bands to national companies and are still growing. Don't be left out for the sake of £10 ! (which you may be able to set against tax)

Brief notes on the last meeting. Available by clicking on link at end of this page.

Holbeach is a thriving small market town but like many other similar communities, has suffered from the failure of national chains and from the credit crunch. Some shops have closed and there are several openings for new retail outlets. The combined local experience of the Business Forum is huge.  Anyone thinking of starting up a business in Holbeach is invited to contact us. We will be happy to answer your questions about local trading conditions and may be able to offer further advice.

ONLINE VOTING.  Requires a password and is available to Forum members only. Contact Paul for details.

Free internet presence. Join our Large membership. Our numbers have more than doubled during the past few months and include a large and diverse number of businesses.  Our directory thus contains far more entries than other similar locally based commercial sites. The Forum can now claim a mandate to speak for Business in Holbeach and our influence with outside organisations is not to be ignored. Forum members have a free mini page in our own business directory on this site.  check out the directory now and see for yourself.

NEW MEMBERS.

To Join the Forum.  Please print out the Directory entry form at the end of the Directory page and send it with your cheque for £10 annual membership fee, payable to Holbeach Business Forum, to the Treasurer, Mr Roger Larner, at 22, Kings Road, Holbeach, Spalding, Lincs. PE12 7RJ, contact any of the officers or just turn up at a meeting. (For the time being,  please restrict buisiness information section of the form to 500 characters plus headings).

To amend or add to Directory entries. Please use the paper form for directory entries or amendments or contact Paul by phone. ( We have a temporary problem with the online facility.)

Many thanks to Trish Bryant and to the Publishers of the Free Press and Spalding Guardian for some of the photographs  used on the site.
